The Persistence of Memory was an international exhibition curated by John Stathatos which, alongside an exhibition of young Israeli photographers, constituted the Third Israeli Biennale of Photography. Held at Ein Harod, Israel, in September 1991, it consisted of a large exhibition on the walls of Ein Harod Museum of Art and of several site-specific installations within the kibbutz. It was accompanied by an illustrated catalogue with an essay by the curator in English and Hebrew.
